November was again a bad month for retailers. General Index at constant prices registered a decline of 1% over the same month in 2009. This is the fifth consecutive fall since the last increase of 0.9% experienced in June.

The General Index of Retail Trade at constant prices registered a decline of 1% over the same month in 2009. However, if the calendar effect is more pronounced fall of 1.5%, according to data released today by the National Statistics Institute (INE).
